For a High-End Remodeler

A large contractor was having problems with cost overruns on framing and wood trim on their remodeling projects. The problem was significantly reduced after having Resurgens perform detailed quantity take-offs and obtaining pricing for the respective materials.

The contractor needed to provide his client with pricing isolated by area of the home. The detached garage needed to be separated from the breezeway as well as the Family Room portion of the work.

Resurgens then obtained pricing from the contractor’s own preferred suppliers. The result was a large time and cost savings because the contractor spent time managing his customers and projects instead of working on the time consuming tasks of counting up materials and tracking down supplier quotes.

Lastly, after the quotes were received, Resurgens audited these quotes, locating and correcting errors, then massaged the information into detailed bills-of-materials for the contractor’s field personnel to order from.

As-Builts

For a Boutique Architecture Firm

The extensive experience of the Resurgens’ team in all aspects of the design and construction processes means that among other things, we know how to read a tape-measure. All measurements are taken to one-eighth of an inch tolerances. The 5,500 square foot home was documented inside and out with as-built drawings of floor plans and elevations. Trees and outbuildings were located as requested by the architect to fully document the property.

With Resurgens’ Virtual Design Department(tm) a remodeling contractor that wishes to outsource their design function can still have the presence of a design/build firm without the overhead of a staff designer. The client firm has a customized title-block on all the drawings and its own logo on the cover.
